The M&O Test Analyst II will support the Employment Development Department (EDD) by performing functional testing on Maintenance & Operations (M&O) builds for the Disability Insurance (DI) and Paid Family Leave (PFL) programs. WHAT YOULL DO:
Perform functional testing of M&O builds for EDD Disability and Paid Family Leave programs
Develop and execute both automated and manual test cases
Use Selenium WebDriver and Selenium IDE to automate test scenarios
Document track and communicate defects using established QA tools and processes
Collaborate closely with EDD design development and operations teams to validate system changes
Conduct accessibility testing to ensure WCAG 2.0 Level A AA and AAA compliance
Analyze system behavior across applications
Execute SQL queries for validation testing and data verification
Support testing across large-scale enterprise web applications including thin client architectures
Assist in testing mobile and responsive interfaces for accessibility considerations
WHAT YOULL BRING:
6 years of experience in software analysis and testing
5 years of experience testing web-based (.NET) applications
Strong understanding of SDLC (6 years)
Hands-on experience with HP ALM
Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and Selenium IDE
Strong SQL database testing skills
Experience providing accessibility strategy consulting in software development teams
Expertise conducting accessibility testing for WCAG 2.0 Level A AA AAA
Experience developing automated test scripts using Selenium (3 years preferred)
IIST or ISTQB testing certification (preferred)
Experience with large-scale enterprise application environments
QTP/UFT experience (preferred)
JCL and mainframe knowledge (preferred)
Strong knowledge of HTML XML CSS JavaScript and web development concepts
Experience testing mobile applications for accessibility
