We are seeking creative dynamic and committed teachers to join our team at Lakeview Public School.
Lakeview PS is a small K-6 French immersion school in Nepean. Everyone is a helper at Lakeview and new and occasional staff often comment on our welcoming staff culture. We enjoy spending time in nature making use of our local parks and rinks and we have a strong focus on a data-driven approach to instruction and well-being. Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Boards (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school and the District by creating a positive and inclusive school climate learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a human rights and equity perspective to foster student success achievement and well-being.
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

Additional Requirements (experience knowledge education) considered an asset for the Position: Spec Ed and Kindergarten qualifications are assets

1. At least three (3) teachers who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
2. If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
