Summary
The Manufacturing Customer Integration Specialist assures coordination and integration of projects between the customer and our core Simplot Business Processes of S&OP Operations Logistics Technical Services New Product Development Finance and Legal. This role coordinates and facilitates information flow between Simplot and contract manufacturing customers across business functions and serves as the primary point of contact with the account. The position ultimately is responsible for managing and delivering the day-to-day interactions with the customers.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Work closely with Simplot technical operations quality systems research & innovation and internal portfolio commercialization teams to deliver value to the customer and Simplot. Support innovation initiatives that grow the business and relationship with customers and for Simplot. Work to optimize resources to drive to desired outcomes.
Sales and Operations Integration: Work with customers Demand Planning to understand Annual Planning Commitments for volume. Work internally with Simplot PPIC to ensure timely delivery of product and monitor penalties for under performance relative to the four-week firm order forecast. Monitor/track New Product introduction status and results. Track and report priority core product changes and new product development/introduction. Implement administrative processes systems and guidelines that are efficient and consistent within the Global Food Group and Simplot Corporate Departments.
Financial/Budget: Will be responsible for supporting financial budgets and will monitor compliance with the negotiated long-term supply agreement between Simplot and customers. Implement systems and processes to ensure profitable margins on all products. Communicate financial learning to team members to improve performance. Work closely with and advise finance and accounting partner assigned to the Business Unit.
Typical Education
Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
5 years related experience and/or training
Required Certifications
- PMP(preferred but not required)
