Job Summary:
Indiana Packers Corporation is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to respond to emergencies and treat employees that have been injured or are ill due to work-related or personal. This position will also work closely with other departments to promote adherence to medical and safety protocols. The schedule hours for the EMT or LPN position are Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays 10:00 pm to 6:30 am for the third shift.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preventative and emergency medical care for injured or ill people
- Ensure personal well-being
- Understand basic medical / legal principles
- Prepare documentation and reports and maintains records
- Complete probable cause or post-accident assessment of employee
- Ensure OSHA Workers Compensation and other medically necessary compliance
- Function within the scope of medical care as defined protocol and state regional and local regulatory agencies
- Maintain confidential information
- Assist with incident investigations and required documentation
- Perform other duties as needed or required
- Lead emergency medical team when called to the production floor or other facility areas
- Perform other duties as needed or required

Qualifications:
- EMT or Paramedic certification or current Indiana LPN license.
- Minimum of 1 years experience as an EMT Paramedic or licensed LPN
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours to provide support while working occasional overtime including weekends
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in extreme hot cold wet humid and odorous environments
- Uphold company policies and ethical standards
- Ability to work well with people at all levels

This EMT/LPN position pays $22.00 dollars per hour plus shift premium $0.50 cents per hour for third shift.
