EY GDS Data and Analytics (D And A) Senior Reporting Lead
As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking Insurance Manufacturing Healthcare Retail Manufacturing and Auto Supply Chain and Finance.
The opportunity
Were looking for Technical Leads/Solution Architects with strong technology and data understanding having proven delivery capability. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm as well as a part of a growing Data and Analytics team.
Your key responsibilities
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles (e.g. accessibility responsive design affordance feedback) and experience applying the principles.
- Experience working in Agile environments including communication with Product Manager and Product Owner.
- Ability to maintain documentation as appropriate for the platform (e.g. user manuals technical specifications code comments).
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools (especially JIRA).
- Expertise in security best practices for web applications.
- Experience using package management tools.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and coaching/mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience in developing applications using QlikView and/or Qlik Sense including dashboard creation data modeling and visualization.
- Experience with ETL processes using Qlik load scripts and connectors.
- Proficiency integrating data from Oracle Postgres Snowflake into Qlik applications.
- Strong skills in Qlik scripting for data manipulation and logic.
- Familiarity with Qlik APIs and developing custom extensions or mashups.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong verbal and written communication skill.
- Ability to explain technical options (advantages disadvantages cost) to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g. GDPR GxP).
- Experience with SQL.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Experience in project management and Agile delivery.
- Hands-on experience with QlikView/Qlik Sense dashboard development and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL processes and Qlik scripting.
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources such as Oracle Postgres and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of security best practices and package management tools .
Ideally youll also have
- Experience in cross-functional teams.
- Coaching and mentoring experience with junior engineers.
- Familiarity with Qlik APIs extensions and mashups.
- Experience in other reporting application like Power BI Tableau is an added advantage
