Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a full-time primary care physician to join our team as a Statewide Medical Director. This position is based out of our Tennessee Regional Office located in Nashville Tennessee.
The Statewide Medical Director provides the comprehensive medical clinical and utilization management direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of a specific contract in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations (VPO) and/or Regional Vice President of Operations (RVP). The Statewide Medical Director mentors clinically supervises and evaluates the team-delivered medical services for the patients at all facilities of the contract and promotes the culture of quality medical care using evidence-based standards of care. This professional serves as the contracts clinical expert provider resource clinical and medical management leader and clinical outcomes driver while representing correctional healthcare to the client and the contracts providers.
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board certified in IM FM or EM
- Active unrestricted TN medical license or ability to obtain
- Active unrestricted DEA
- Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience
- Correctional healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass background screening drug test and credentialing

- Monday-Friday
- Day Shift
- No nights holidays or weekends
