Job Summary
Always Best Care Alexandria is seeking a Registered Nursefor our in-home care company. This vital position reports to the Administrator and is responsible for preparing thorough and accurate initial assessments/reassessments and developing personalized care plans for our clients. This part-time/PRN position is ideal for someone who desires meaningful work with flexible hours.
Benefits:
- Part-time/PRN position
- Flexible work hours (weekday weekend and evening hours available)
Compensation:
- $75 per assessment
- $65 per reassessment
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly re-evaluates the clients needs.
- Develops the plan of care and makes necessary revisions.
- Informs the administrator physician and other relevant personnel of changes in the clients condition and needs.
- Assists the administrator with assessing the competency of caregiver staff to promote quality continuity and safety of client care.
- Supervises educates and coaches other personnel (i.e. Certified Home Health Aides) as directed by the administrator.
- Ensures compliance with all local state and federal laws.
Qualifications:
- Possess a bachelors degree in nursing from a state-approved or accredited program;
- Must be in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing;
- Possess a valid Drivers License and able to travel to clients homes;
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience or home care experience preferred;
- Minimum of one (1) year supervising experience preferred;
