The Simulation Specialist serves as educator consultant researcher instructional and evaluation designer clinical practice expert and interprofessional collaborator supporting the clinical simulation needs of staff throughout the PHS enterprise. Supports the educational simulation components of the organizations clinical initiatives and practices
The RN Clinical Simulation Specialist is responsible for designing implementing and evaluating clinical simulation experiences that support nursing education and professional development. This role ensures high-quality evidence-based simulation activities that enhance clinical competency critical thinking and patient safety across the organization.

Summary:

Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing required.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
Masters Degree either in progress or started within 2 years of hire and completed within 5 years. Focus of masters degree in Nursing Nursing Education Education Instructional Design Business Leadership Informatics Administration or equivalent degree required
Certification from Society of Simulation in Healthcare within 2 years from hire
