Job Summary

The Cook I may work as a cafeteria grill cook cafeteria deli bar cook cooks helper or cold production/pantry cook. Performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation cooking and panning of food primarily vegetables starches soups salads and sandwiches. Preps food for future production may serve on patient tray line functions as back-up to senior cooks. Cleans work area. Provides excellent customer service. May be asked to do other tasks associated with food service as the need arises.
