Reporting to:ICT Director

Whatwill youdo:

AsanOracle DBAyouwillbe responsible forOracle database administration including installation configuration performance tuning backup and recovery security management and ensuring high availability and reliability of database systems to support business applications.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Supporting the design development and maintenance of Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c)

• Assistingin defining and applying data architecture standards including data modeling indexing and replication

• Monitoring database performance tuning queries andoptimizingoperations

• Managing backups recovery procedures and ensuring high availability of database systems

• Maintaining database security andcomplying withprivacy regulations (e.g. GDPR)

• Collaborating with software and DevOps teams on database integration and deployment

• Supporting software architecture and backend integration activities

• Learning and applying best practices in database design and optimization under senior guidance

• Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines

• 3yearsof professional experience in database design and administration

• Ηands-on experience with Oracle databases

• Experiencein SQL PL/SQL performance tuning and data modeling tools

• Experience in database migration refactoring and replicationacross environments

• Solid understanding of backup/recovery mechanisms HA/DR architectures and security controls

• Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills

• Fluency in English and Greek(both written and spoken)

Any experience in any of the followingwill be highlyappreciated

• Experiencewith DevOps pipelines containerized environments and automated deploymentfor database systems

• Experiencewithother DBsPostgresMySQLorNoSQLdatabases(MongoDBCassandra)

• KnowledgeofdatawarehousingETLpipelines andBIenvironments

• FamiliaritywithAzureorAWSdatabaseservices(RDSDataFactoryetc.)

• Understandingofmicroservicesand API-basedintegrationfrom adataperspective

• ExperienceinEU-fundedR&Dorenterprise-scaleprojects

• CertificationinOracleDatabase AdministrationorDataArchitecture
