Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all activities within the warehouse including but not limited to Operations Management Inventory and Systrems Management as well as Safety Security and Compliance.

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping receiving picking packing and inventory control.

  • Operate forklift to safely load and unload shipments in the yard.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and maintain quality standards.

  • Monitor and manage the flow of goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Coordinate with procurement logistics and sales departments to optimize overall supply chain performance.

  • Manage physical inventory counts and cycle counting programs to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.

  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (SAP) to track inventory process orders and generate reports.

  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

  • File SOPs for WMS utilization.

  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with local state and federal regulations including OSHA and environmental standards.

  • Develop and enforce robust safety protocols and conduct regular safety training sessions for all staff.

  • Maintain the security of the warehouse and inventory by implementing and managing security systems and access controls.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified hazards immediately.

Qualifications

Prior experience operating a forklift.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently follow detailed instructions while operating safely.

Valid drivers license along with a clean Motor Vehicle Report. Must pass the Davey Drivers Safety Course and obtain DOT driving certifications (if 21 years or older).

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Preferred

Ability to use electronic devices and technological tools in the field including iPads computers and warehouse management software.

Previous experience in performing manual labor outdoors.

High school diploma.
