Position Description: ThinkTek is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to support enterprise-level initiatives across a dynamic defense organization. The ideal candidate will support cross-functional program execution strategic integration activities data-driven decision support and stakeholder coordination to enable mission success. This role serves as the bridge between leadership program teams and stakeholders-ensuring alignment of strategy activities communication and delivery milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program & Project Management Support
- Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing programs and initiatives
- Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional stakeholder engagement and project review forums driving issue resolution and decision-making
- Monitor project milestones risks and dependencies; support problem-solving intervention as needed
- Lead planning execution and monitoring of multiple concurrent projects ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines
- Develop and maintain project plans schedules charters work breakdown structures (WBS) and risk registers
- Track project performance using dashboards and reporting tools preparing executive-level updates and status briefings
- Support requirements gathering milestone planning resource alignment and change-control processes
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned process evaluation and integration of best practices
- Support strategic planning activities and long-term initiative development
- Maintain and enhance program tools and collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint Teams channels task tracking systems)
- Perform quality assurance reviews on program documentation and reporting artifacts
- Maintain program collaboration platforms and document repositories ensuring version control and stakeholder access
Required:
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief executive leadership and provide high-quality presentation products.
- Familiarity with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency DoD business processes policies and/or IT systems.
- Experience collecting analyzing and reporting program data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Clearance:
- Minimum Active Secret Clearance
- Education & Experience:
- Education: Masters degree (preferably in Project Management or Business Administration or a related field).
- Experience: 5 years of experience in project management ideally supporting federal or defense programs.
Desired:
- Experience supporting strategic planning or enterprise integration initiatives
- Understanding of performance measurement KPIs and program health metrics
- PMP CAPM Lean Six Sigma or Agile/Scrum certification
