Job Description

We are looking for aManual Quality Assurance Analystto design execute and manage comprehensive testing strategies that ensure the functionality performance and reliability of software solutions. The role involves developing end-to-endtest plans executing both manual and automated tests and collaborating withcross-functional teamsin anAgile/DevOpsenvironment. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills hands-on experience withautomation tools and a solid background in ensuring high-qualitysoftware delivery. This position will befull-timeandremote.

What Youll Do

• Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met

• Write manage and executetest plans

• Design write and executetest casesand test scenarios

• LeverageJIRASQL and othertesting toolsin the execution Quality Assurance activities

• Gain understanding of operating environment business processes and application functionality

• Experience withMobile testingon different platforms andoperating systemsExperienced with use of test tools used in theDevOpsenvironment

• Author the Test Suite - test scenarios andtest casestraceable to requirements in order to validate the applicationdeliverables

• Validate data and reports usingSQLand other tools (where needed)

• Prioritize and plan quality control activities across a large project and report on product quality regularly

• Responsible for risk assessment for each release and contribute to bug reporting and triage

• Identify document and track issues found during testing

• Coordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues

• Determine communicate and execute the appropriate testing strategy for each deliverable

• Evaluates the performance ofautomation systemsor processes finds improvement opportunities.

• Responsible for repeatabletest automationor manual at all three levels of the Agile Test Pyramid

• Addresses clients requirements and resolves complex problems related to industrialautomation systemsarchitecture orprocess implementation

What Youll Need

Required:

• 5- 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area

• Manual API testing skills

• Strong Test case writing skills (Can think of positive and negative case on the spot based on any requirements provided)

• Strong testing skills

• Well versed in Jira

• Can plan testing strategy for optimal proficiency and delivery

• Someone that can clearly explain bugs and an approach to resolve bugs

• Articulate friendly cheerful outgoing personality. Someone willing to talk in a group and contribute to resolution. Not just a head down tester someone outspoken

• Can mentor team members and be a team player

• Strong proactiveness eager to learn and have the right attitude

• Working knowledge ofQuality testingand business process analysis concepts practices and procedures in the Agile /DevOpsenvironment. Ability to demonstrate a certain degree of creativity combined with analysis critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
