The EMEA Commercial team is now seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Client Success Manager (CSM) responsible for fostering lasting client relationships and being a trusted advisor to our subscribers. You will collaborate with various Account Managers on a portfolio of customers to ensure each relationship is growing and developing in alignment with our business strategy and goals.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in customer success account management and/or business analysis specifically within the Energy sector. The candidate should also possess expertise and network from the Energy industry strong commercial mindset ability to understand and translate customer needs and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Tasks include working directly with users and key stakeholders to build and increase product adoption uncover the need for new services and maintain relationships across the organization. You will get the opportunity to develop and execute product-driven and segment-focused client retention and growth strategies as well ashelping clients realize the full value of Rystad Energys databases and analytics to help them deliver on their business outcomes. You will also work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing product development market research and training specialists to drive engagement and expansion across your client remit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary post-sale point of contact to develop strong client advocates that enable the CSM to become a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Direct and impactful engagement with Rystad Energys largest clients collaboration with the main account team drive adoption and upsell/cross-sell of a wide variety of solutions.
  • Opportunity to own and drive on-the-ground client engagement and adoption with Norway based companies
  • Jointly define success criteria with clients by understanding their business challenges and goals
  • Design and execute Engagement plans that set the strategy for onboarding adoption and retention
  • Together with account managers take proactive measures to maximize retention and expansion within existing relationships
  • Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure clients technical/analytical needs are resolved in a timely manner
  • Develop an understanding of Rystad Energy products and services and proactively help on identifying areas of improvement to increase market share and penetration.
  • Provide client feedback to internal teams including Product Managers and Solution teams
  • Participate in industry and networking events to grow the Rystad Energy brand
  • Maintain and leverage all client data and interaction records in the CRM system
  • Contribute to the wider vision and strategy of the Client Success team

Skills & Attributes for Success

  • Bachelors degree required. Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in relevant Energy sectors: Project engineering Business development Market analysis Strategy among others.
  • Proven experience working with market intelligence and database products is an advantage.
  • Passionate about developing close relationships with customers and enabling their long-term success.
  • Proven knowledge in Energy supply/demand notions is a key strength
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and Power BI is an advantage
  • Strong focus on collaboration and teamwork across functions and regions
  • Ability to work independently at times be self-driven and resourceful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Power Point and Excel)
  • Position to be located in our Oslo office
