Firmwide Data Office
Managing the accuracy & timeliness of our data enables our businesses helps us to make informed decisions and protects us from risk. Firmwide data office (FDO) is a group within the Cyber Data Risk and Resiliency Division that focuses on Data as a key priority of Morgan Stanleys overall Strategy. FDO develops tooling & solutions for Data Flows Risk Reduction Architecture and Visualisation.

What youll do in the role:
o Champion the modernization of Data Architecture and Management across the organization.
o Lead governance activities including committee coordination issue resolution and strategic planning for Data Architecture and Management.
o Ensure alignment with Technology Data Principles Technology Policy Data Standards FDO capabilities Enterprise Architecture and the Data Governance Office (DGO).
o Oversee the delivery of updated Technology Data and Architecture Management standards and procedures including the definition of key metrics and the establishment of a Control Committee.
o Drive strategic initiatives in Data Architecture and Management such as metrics implementation (e.g. Project Cortex).
o Foster a culture of engagement continuous learning and professional development within the Data Architecture and Management community.

o Extensive experience in data governance management and strategic design and implementation.
o Proven leadership in driving large scale data transformation programmes.
o Strong background in risk management issue remediation and navigating regulatory environments.
o Strategic mindset with a proven ability to plan and deliver complex initiatives.
o Skilled in developing executive level presentation materials that drive decision making.
o High level of ownership and accountability in delivering outcomes.
o Experience in leading and managing high performing teams.
o Collaborative approach with the ability to build networks and coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups in business and technology.
