Spécialiste EHS
Purpose:
- The EHS Specialistwill work under the leadership of the EHS Manager supporting daily operations and focusing on one or more areas of Environmental Health & Safety specialization.
- This role is key in ensuring compliance promoting safety culture and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance across the site.
- You will be based in Argenteuil and reporting to the EHS Manager
Core Responsibilities:
1. Chemical Risk Management
- Ensure effective management of chemical risks on site.
- Conduct chemical exposure assessments across all laboratories.
- Monitor individual exposure to chemical hazards.
- Organize and plan air control and sampling campaigns.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all chemical products.
- Ensure proper communication regarding any changes in product classification.
- Validate newly purchased products.
- Perform regular regulatory monitoring related to occupational health.
2. Ergonomics & Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) Risk Management
- Conduct ergonomic analyses of workstations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for modifications or setups of new workstations.
- Follow up on prevention measures related to risks from physical activities.
- Stay informed about new technological solutions and best practices in the field of ergonomics.
3. Management of Regulated Materials
- Oversee compliance and control activities associated with regulated materials on site.
Qualifications
Academic Background
- Degree in an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)related field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of SAP(preferred).
- Strong Excelskills.
- Fluent in French and Good level of English(both written and spoken).
