Job Summary

Tennecos Performance Solutions business segment enhances performance on a variety of vehicles from passenger cars through commercial truck off-highway and industrial (CTOHI) to rail and aerospace.

The OE business groups Advanced Suspension Technologies Ride Control Braking and NVH Performance Materials business units are dedicated to helping drivers and passengers experience the perfect ride by delivering differentiated technologies that help improve performance handling and comfort. The Systems Protection business unit brings solutions that help reduce abrasion heat noise and electromagnetic interference in critical components.

Position summary: Support customer-engineering requirement and coordinate internal resource to delivery sample/data on time

Reports to (role): Engineering Manager

Works closely with:

Location: Chongqing

Key responsibilities:

Being the Technical Contact for Test- and Design engineers at our customers
Translate customer requirements into product requirements Consultation of customers about our products
Consultation of our customers concerning the influence of changes on product cost and price
Consultation of manufacturing concerning products
Product definition for IAM
Support to productivity initiatives as outsourcing etc.
Close cooperation with different departments (product and process eng. Test sales marketing production etc) required
Act as a project leader from the start through product launch for customers.
Comply with the safety and environment requirements and responsibilities.

Ideal candidate experience:

Skills and capabilities

Experience in Automotive or supplier industry
Excellent knowledge of Friction and Brake Technology (manufacturing process and application)
Several years of experience with customers and suppliers; customer oriented personality
Excellent knowledge in English additional language skills preferred (German French)
Excellent knowledge of PC-standard software preferable further knowledge in SAP CAD etc.
Self-starter and capable of working independently

Qualifications/ certifications:

Bachelor degree needed
Effective communication skills
Desire to work in a team environment
Business Acumen
