Anticipated Hiring Range:The salary rate for this appointment is $4150 monthly.

Department Information

The Disability Access Center (DAC) works collaboratively with students faculty staff and administrators to provide a wide range of academic accommodations that ensure disabled students have equal educational access.

RequiredQualifications

1. Ability to work with a diverse student population in a fast paced and diverse work environment
2. Demonstrated ability to apply rules regulations and procedures
3. Demonstrated strong interpersonal verbal and written skills
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook as well as video technology such as Zoom and/or Teams
5. Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment with diverse colleagues and constituents including faculty students staff and members of the community

PreferredQualifications

1. Experience working with adults with disabilities
2. Experience working with college or university faculty
3. Familiarity with federal laws Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act
4. Familiarity with disability management universal design and disability rights
5. Experience with conflict resolution and case management.
