The Opportunity
HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi which develops manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
We are now hiring a Project Supplier Quality Inspector to HVDC Sweden a business line within Hitachi. As Project Supplier Quality Inspector you have a key role in the project by being responsible to perform inspections at Suppliers to ensure the equipment is manufactured according to the requirements. Work tasks are split between operational site visits to suppliers performing inspections and traveling. Strategic tasks as part of the department and different project teams for you to give input report on findings and work with other stakeholders both internal and external in preparation of and feedback about inspections.
