On the Bell Business Markets team youll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. Youll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT Mobility/5G Cloud Cyber Security Voice Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary

Bell Business Markets is seeking a results-orientedClient Executive to drive significant sales growth and foster deep client relationships with our public sector clients. This pivotal role involves identifying new business opportunities expanding existing accounts and serving as a trusted advisor for Bells comprehensive portfolio of advanced telecommunications and IT solutions.

Successful candidates will receive a base salary and sales bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop strategies to acquire new and expand business within existing accounts meeting or exceeding sales targets for Bells portfolio of solutions (e.g. connectivity wireless services unified communications cloud services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) security managed IT AI ServiceNow and SFDC).
  • Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned public sector clients fostering trust and understanding their evolving business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans: Create and implement comprehensive account plans that outline growth opportunities client engagement strategies and tailored solution roadmaps.
  • Solution Expertise and Consultative Selling: Translate Bells strategic plan and priorities into relevant high-impact and effective solutions for clients. Understand client challenges and business goals to propose and position relevant Bell solutions acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Presentation and Proposal Development: Lead RFP responses sales proposals develop and deliver compelling client proposals presentations and executive summaries.
  • Pipeline Management and Forecasting: Proactively manage a sales pipeline accurately forecast revenue and maintain detailed records of client interactions and opportunities within CRM systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise effectively with internal teams including technical specialists solutions architects customer support and product management to ensure seamless client experience and successful solution delivery.
  • Market and Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of telecommunications and IT industry trends competitive landscape and Bells product and service offerings.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiation processes for contracts renewals and amendments ensuring favorable terms and compliance.

Critical Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in enterprise-level technology or telecommunications sales with a consistent history of meeting or exceeding quotas. Experience selling complex multi-faceted solutions is essential.
  • Public Sector Expertise: In-depth understanding of the public sector procurement process (e.g. federal provincial municipal) including familiarity with RFPs tender processes and government contracting vehicles. An established network of contacts within government agencies is highly desirable.
  • Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to act as a trusted advisor understanding public sector challenges and strategic objectives to propose and position relevant technology solutions effectively.
  • Solution Acumen: Knowledge of Bells portfolio of solutions (e.g. advanced networking cloud services cybersecurity unified communications managed IT) and their application to public sector needs such as digital transformation citizen services and secure infrastructure.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated leadership and experience in building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with senior government officials IT decision-makers and key stakeholders across various public sector organizations.
  • Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop comprehensive account strategies understand client business drivers and articulate the value proposition of Bells offerings through compelling business cases.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and closing abilities particularly within complex government sales cycles.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) required.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to navigate evolving government priorities and funding landscapes and to persevere through lengthy sales cycles common in the public sector.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
