The State College Area School District is seeking applications for an anticipated Secretary to the Director of Special Education.This position provides confidential and comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Special Education Department.
This position requires strong organizational and communication skills attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information in compliance with district state and federal requirements. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and provide exceptional customer service to staff students and families.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in a secretarial/staff support position preferred preferably in public education.
- Experience with Budgeting Knowledge and Usage of Financial Systems and State Reporting Preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- All Commonwealth Federal and District required clearances and mandates.
Grade D; 7.5 Hours/day; 260 Days/year
The minimum pay rate for this position is $20.80 per hour.
