Description
The Operations Safety Support Coordinator will work with their assigned Regional Safety Manager to ensure Federal State Alliance Technical Group and customer safety requirements are met while maintaining the safety work environment possible for Alliance Technical Group employees. This position will be located in our Baytown Texas office with a payrate of $24/hr.
Essential Functions

- Ensure customer allotted billable safety hours are captured.
- Attend customer required safety meetings.
- Assist in the management of incidents by ensuring thorough and timely reporting investigation and follow up.
- Ensure office site and equipment inspections are completed in accordance with Federal State and Alliance requirements.
- Ensure employee safety training is adequate and completed.
- Assist in the coordination of additional safety related training as needed.
- Act as point of contact for addressing employee concerns regarding health and safety.
- Implement support and monitor all Alliance safety programs and procedures to ensure that operations are meeting safety requirements and highlighting areas for
improvement. - Assist in building and implementing site safety plans for Alliance sites / offices as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining all safety data sheets for chemicals that are used at Alliance or customer facilities and offices.
- Provide guidance to management on training safety and investigations.
- Collaborate with all employees within the Alliance safety department and report any discrepancies in the stated goals of the department (cultural process procedure or policy).
- Ensure all Alliance team members have necessary access to all safety related documentation and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to Alliance safety policies and documentation.
- Promote a positive safety culture for all team members
