ChristianaCares Addiction Medicine Department is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician to provide thorough and accurate assessments for patients requiring Addiction Medicine consultation across our Wilmington and Newark campuses.

  • Work closely with the medical and nursing staff on the admitted units Addiction Medicine peer counselors and discharge coordinators and community treatment providers to formulate safe discharge plans for patients.
  • Join a team committed to providing state of the art treatment for substance use disorders (SUD). Our Addiction Medicine Consult Service is one of few in the country. The goal is to manage patients opioid withdrawal during their medical admission which often includes catastrophic illness.
  • The service aggressively manages opioid withdrawal in the acute care inpatient setting then transitions patients to medication for opioid use disorder and together with Project Engage facilitates transition to substance use disorder care after discharge.

Compensation and Benefits Include:

Position Qualifications

Annual Compensation Range $122114.00 - $157121.00

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills relevant experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
