GDS SaT Transaction Diligence Senior Associate (Associate Manager)

Within SaT Transaction Diligence (TD) services encompass the strategic development and execution of an appropriate transaction structure which includes execution of financial due diligence IPOs and restructuring of banking loans. Our team works to understand profit drivers and trends assumptions of future performance and assists with purchase agreements and post-closing transaction matters. TD professionals work on buy-side diligence and provide sell-side diligence services. This helps clients maximize value mitigate risks and achieve their strategic goals in acquisition and divestiture deals.

The opportunity

Were looking for an Associate Manager with expertise in Financial Due Diligence external audit experience working with a public accounting firm and/or mergers and acquisitions transactions experience or experience in the field of financial planning and analysis and statutory accounting to join TD team. Your key responsibilities

• Understands the due diligence process and has experience in financial analysis report writing preferable in Banking Insurance or AMC sector
• Responsible for execution of projects which includes strong number control creating data book from scratch performing key analysis as advised from manager as per the client/deal requirement.
• Have good number control and can manage ambiguity and complete the assigned task within defined timelines.
• Ensures to deliver quality service as per clients needs and priorities
• Measure monitor and improve client service by strong execution getting work papers directly reviewed from Senior Manager/Manager and driving excellence in service delivery
• Focus on the key priorities while managing several large to medium-size projects
• Ensuring smooth service delivery within the defined timeline and geographical area
• Perfom self-review of the work in terms of accuracy of findings presentation of data logical reasoning of points of view usage of crisp and effective language and comprehensiveness of scope vis-à-vis the agreed scope.
• Identifies develops and implements best practices in projects. Defines need for new information sources and provides feedback on new sources.
• Manages efficiency and productivity of of himself and work as a team on a day-to-day basis. Ensures adherence to SaT work-flow protocol and tools.
• Proactively participate in research approach identification and execute it to produce outputs contributing to the overall project.

Skills and attributes for success

• Relevant diligence or external audit experience working with a public accounting firm and/or mergers and acquisitions transactions experience or experience in the field of financial planning and analysis and statutory accounting
• Strong executional analytical and interpersonal skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong drive to take new initiatives and ability to adapt to new situations and ideas
• Good knowledge and experience in any of the following sectors will be an added advantage Financial Services Oil and Gas Technology Consumer Products Power and Utilities and Life Science
• Excellent communication organizational interpersonal and teaming skills.
• Willingness to travel when necessary

To qualify for the role you must have

• Chartered Accountancy degree or MBA in Finance from a premier institute with 4-6 years of experience
• Relevant experience in FDD/ external audit working with a public accounting firm and/or mergers and acquisitions transactions experience or experience in the field of financial planning and analysis and statutory accounting

Ideally youll also have

• Project management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
