Position Highlights

The Community Manager has a vital role in building and nurturing the customer communities ensuring that they are engaged satisfied and thriving. Primary responsibilities include fostering positive relationships and representing the Cybersecurity department to the community members.

As Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist will be responsible for promoting the secure behaviors necessary for information protection.

For these purposes this communications professional will manage the development review execution and maintenance of CTCs communication plan and Cybersecurity Awareness Program.

Main responsibilities:


Define maintain report and support an annual communications strategy for the Core Technologies & Cybersecurity (CTC) IT department.
Get familiar and knowledgeable regarding CTC roadmaps and on-going initiatives to identify opportunities of communications.
Run interviews with CTC project managers and subjects specialists to draft content.
Maintain and develop explanatory materials such as presentations videos blog posts and other materials in support of the communication strategy.
Write communications for our employees contractors and partners to inform alert and educate based on the communications strategy and requests from the CTC team.
Manage content calendars and ensure regular posting.
Plan the cybersecurity awareness campaigns
Work with the Cybersecurity team to identify the top human risks to our organization and the behaviours we need to change to manage those risks.
Create a positive Awareness Program that builds on our culture.
Execute Cybersecurity Awareness Campaigns
Clearly and effectively explain security risks and behaviours.
Engage people to include focusing on changing behaviours both at home and at work.
Communicate progress to leadership.

Main requirements:

4 years of professional related work experience.
Demonstrable experience in technical training or adult education.
Proven track record of the webinar and public speaking experience.
Professional experience using different types of communications methods including social media blogging videos online messaging printed materials hosted events and other methods.
Experience writing and designing information security educational material for employees and customers.
Knowledge and experience dealing with Cybersecurity domains.
Experience and desire to work in a global environment.
Preferred qualification: Masters degree in business communications or computer science

Nice to have:


Project management experience is a plus.
Design experience and familiarity with design programs (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop) are a plus.
CISSP CISA or other industry certifications will be considered a plus.
