Job Summary

Riverhawk Company a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. As an Continuous Improvement Engineer at Riverhawk this individual will identify and eliminate scrap rework and waste in our CNC manufacturing operations. This role will drive lean principles and continuous improvement throughout the shop floor helping us achieve a first time good rate of 90% or better. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of prior experience in a related role where they have been hands-on data-driven and passionate about making measurable impact. This person will be someone who can inspire collaboration lead change and promote a culture of precision and attention to detail.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across CNC work centers and production processes
  • Analyze data identify bottlenecks and develop actionable solutions to improve throughput and reduce costs
  • Implement and sustain Lean tools such as 5S Kaizen value stream mapping and visual management systems
  • Drive root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes to address quality and efficiency issues
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure manufacturability and cost-effective methods for new and existing parts
  • Develop and maintain process documentation performance metrics and improvement dashboards
  • Champion teamwork and employee engagement in a dynamic fast-paced environment

What We Need: The qualifications below are requirements for the Continuous Improvement Engineer role:

  • Associates degree in engineering or a related field required Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering management or continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated leadership in Lean Manufacturing 5S Kaizen and/or value stream mapping
  • Six Sigma training a plus
  • Prior manufacturing engineering or similar experience in a CNC machining environment preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP systems for data analysis and decision-making
  • Strong knowledge of bills of materials routings and process control
  • Proven ability to implement measurable improvements that increase throughput and reduce cost
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and comfortable presenting metrics and findings to leadership

  • Pay range - $ annually (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to prior experience knowledge skill and education as they relate to the positions qualifications)
