KBRs National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security this position your work will have a profound impact on the countrys most critical role protecting our national security.
KBR is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer to work on complex projects crucial to our national security objectives. They will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to assist the government in implementing and executing systems engineering processes to integrate ground systems into the operational baseline at a customer facility in Denver CO.

Key Responsibilities:
Advise and assist the government with the planning engineering integration and O&M activities of ground systems.
Analyze and document site system architecture and impacts associated with system updates/deliveries.
Collaborates with Headquarters Directorates site organizations and mission partners to ensure understanding of project requirements and risks (cost schedule technical)
Document develop and deliver analysis recommendations plans reports/briefings to the Government.

Basic Compensation:
$129000 - $194000 USD annually
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Qualifications:
Required:
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Bachelors degree in science technology engineering mathematics (STEM) field required (contractual requirement) and nine (9) years or more relevant experience; masters and seven (7) years or more experience.
Knowledge of customers space and ground domain mission and technical capabilities
Demonstrated experience with government customers systems engineering mission readiness and project management processes familiar with site mission and ground systems integration procedures.
Systems engineering background; understanding of systems development life cycle from concept requirements engineering design integration and test deployment maintenance through decommissioning.
Experience in requirements definition system architectures systems analysis and design interface and data architectures validation and verification.
Polished communicator and proven collaborator; demonstrated ability to coordinate across all levels of government to ensure contracts effectively deliver required services and capabilities.
Self-starter proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad abstract topics.
Familiar with model-based systems engineering and digital engineering concepts and tools; Agile/DevSecOps development methodology cloud technologies.
Desired:
Experience in initiating planning executing monitoring and controlling DoD or Intelligence Community projects or Programs.
Experience in architecture management baseline audit and verification.
Familiar with JIRA Confluence.
