Job Title: Fostering Supervising Social Worker

Pay Rate: 41400 Per annum

Schedule: MondayFriday (8-hour shift)
Liquid Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join an Ofsted outstanding rated independent fostering service covering Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. This role will be primarily based in Mansfield with weekly travel to a regional office. The post is full-time permanent (37.5 hours) with a salary up to 41400 plus 3400 car allowance.
Role Overview:
- Provide intensive support to foster carers and their families to ensure high-quality care for vulnerable children.
- Work in accordance with Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards 2011.
What will your responsibilities be
- Monthly supervision of a manageable caseload (1215 fostering households).
- Undertake planned and unannounced visits to children in placement.
- Formulate development plans for foster carers.
- Forge effective working relationships with local authorities responsible for children.
- Maintain accurate recording and report writing; ensure compliance with standards.
- Promote and safeguard the wellbeing of children at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Current Social Work England registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Degree in Social Work/Masters/DipSW/CQSW.
- 2 years relevant recent practice experience desirable but not essential.
- Thorough understanding of legislative framework pertaining to children and of safeguarding.
- Ability to manage a case load.
- Excellent communicator and strong assessment skills.
- Car driver with own car and clean license.
