Pay Rate: $45/hour ($1687.50 weekly)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Clinical Lab Technologistfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Key Responsibilities
Perform verify and document POCT procedures per laboratory protocols and regulatory standards.
Conduct calibration quality control and maintenance on POCT instruments.
Provide technical assistance and training to clinical staff performing POCT.
Troubleshoot testing and instrument issues; escalate as needed.
Ensure proper specimen handling labeling and processing.
Maintain accurate QC records proficiency testing results and equipment logs.
Collaborate with clinical teams to support timely diagnosis and patient care.
Adhere to CLIA CAP Joint Commission and facility compliance standards.
Participate in audits inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
Work independently with strong attention to detail across multiple clinical areas.
Qualifications
Active New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required.
Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical laboratory or POCT experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of POCT instruments QC procedures and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with EMR and laboratory information systems (LIS).
Excellent communication organization and problem-solving abilities.
