Indirect Material & Services Coordinator

Objective of the position:
Execute operational purchasing for IDM&S to support country and factory needs.
Drive the implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives within the country/factories and promote operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to carry out local purchasing activities.
Implement contracts agreements and new processes effectively.
Contribute to the development and adoption of standardized efficient P2P processes.
Key responsibilities:
Execute local purchasing activities in alignment with regional thresholds and global procurement frameworks.
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts for indirect goods and services.
Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders throughout the procurement cycle.
Support global and regional sourcing projects by offering local market insights and validating RFI/RFP processes.
Collaborate with Global Category Managers to implement sourcing strategies and monitor supplier performance.
Lead local sourcing initiatives including market analysis supplier selection and contract negotiations.
Ensure full compliance with QCDIM standards CSR principles sustainability objectives and SKFs Code of Conduct and EHS policies.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- 5 years of proven experience in procurement or sourcing preferably within indirect categories such as services MRO or facility-related supplies. Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships negotiate contracts and support strategic sourcing initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience working across multiple sites and in international contexts with a strong understanding of global procurement practices and cross-cultural collaboration.
Strong skills in negotiation communication and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba as well as supplier performance metrics.
