Architectural Technician (Residential)
28000 - 34000 (Negotiable Depending on Experience) Cheltenham Full-Time Hybrid
An established architectural practice based in Cheltenham is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician with at least 2 years experience in the residential sector to join its growing team. The practice works with a diverse portfolio of clients including national house builders housing associations and regional developers delivering projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will support Project Designers on residential developments contributing to high-quality technical design and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Produce technical drawings and specifications using Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD.
Assist in the design and delivery of projects from feasibility through construction.
Liaise with clients consultants and contractors to ensure design intent and regulatory compliance.
Contribute to team projects providing technical expertise and coordination support.
Participate in CPD training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the practice.
Candidate Requirements
Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years experience in residential architecture or technical design.
Proficiency in Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
