Two Rivers Medical Centrehas an exciting opportunity for a hardworking enthusiastic and innovative pharmacy technician to join our team.This role is offeredon apart-time basis for 22.5 hours per week. This position is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing patient prescriptions
- Supporting medication reviews and reconciliations
- Advising patients and healthcare professionals on medication-related queries
- Developing our prescribing systems to ensure safe effective and efficient
- Supporting the reception and administration teams with complex medication queries
- Supporting the GP partners on prescribing projects and cost/safety audits and actions
- Minimizing medication wastage
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC
- Diploma Level 3 in pharmacy servicesor equivalent
- Strong experience in either a community pharmacy or a primary care setting
