Job Description
DC Power Engineer
- Location: Gastonia NC (onsite)
- Schedule:MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Travel:Minimal occasional project site visits
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site DC Power Engineer role based in Gastonia NC. The DC Power Engineer will be responsible for designing installing and maintaining DC power systems for telecom and energy infrastructure projects. Daily tasks may include troubleshooting conducting equipment testing preparing technical documentation and collaborating with project teams to ensure quality and efficiency in installation processes. The role also involves adhering to safety standards and providing ongoing support for installed systems.
Qualifications:
- Technical skills in DC power systems battery technologies and backup power systems
- Experience with system design troubleshooting and maintenance
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and preparing technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in on-site project environments
- Relevant certifications or coursework in electrical engineering energy systems or a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in telecom energy or infrastructure industries is advantageous
Requirements:
- Strong DC Power experience (required)
- Telecom experience (preferred)
- Ability to manage 1525 projects per week in a fast-paced environment
