Job Description
I am supporting a client in Houston TX with an immediate need for an Entry-Level Service Technicianwho can perform hands-on mechanical assembly electrical/electronic troubleshooting and in-house product compliance testing prior to shipment. This role also includes field service responsibilities and requires consistent travel within the United States with occasional travel to Central America.
This is a Direct Hire office M-F (8am - 5pm).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly electrical diagnostics and repair
- Conduct in-house product compliance testing prior to shipping
- Support equipment installation troubleshooting and maintenance
- Use hand tools test equipment and soldering tools as needed
- Maintain an organized work area and follow quality standards
- Travel to customer sites to perform service work (domestic occasional international)
Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Hands-on assembly experience (mechanical and electrical)
- Ability to use a soldering iron and standard hand tools
- Prior exposure to electronic or circuit-board assembly is a plus
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly
- Must have a U.S. passport be eligible to obtain one or hold permanent resident status allowing international travel
- Reliable organized and able to follow technical procedures
