Job Description

I am supporting a client in Houston TX with an immediate need for an Entry-Level Service Technicianwho can perform hands-on mechanical assembly electrical/electronic troubleshooting and in-house product compliance testing prior to shipment. This role also includes field service responsibilities and requires consistent travel within the United States with occasional travel to Central America.

This is a Direct Hire office M-F (8am - 5pm).

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical assembly electrical diagnostics and repair
Conduct in-house product compliance testing prior to shipping
Support equipment installation troubleshooting and maintenance
Use hand tools test equipment and soldering tools as needed
Maintain an organized work area and follow quality standards
Travel to customer sites to perform service work (domestic occasional international)

Qualifications:

Experience with electrical electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
Hands-on assembly experience (mechanical and electrical)
Ability to use a soldering iron and standard hand tools
Prior exposure to electronic or circuit-board assembly is a plus
Must be willing and able to travel regularly
Must have a U.S. passport be eligible to obtain one or hold permanent resident status allowing international travel
Reliable organized and able to follow technical procedures
