About the Role:
Class A CDL driver operates primarily tractor trailer and Front-End Loader and Roll-Off Trucks (Class B). The successful candidate must be self-motivated an initiative-taker and take the driver responsibility very seriously. There is growth potential with this position.
Responsibilities:

- Operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local state and federal laws.
- Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR.
- Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level.
- Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets.
- Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- A valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen physical and 7-year background check which will include previous employment check criminal history and motor vehicle review.
- Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records.
- Strong customer service skills
- Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
At least three (3) years of experience driving commercial routes preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Extensively use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects tools orcontrols and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to sit walk stand climb balance stoop squat kneel crawl speak and hear.
- Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers.
- Vision abilities include close distance color and peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
