We are currently seeking afull-timePsychiatric Nurse Practitionerto join our team atPatuxent Institutionlocated inJessup Maryland.
Patuxent Institution is the centralized location for several other clinical programs. The institution provides assessment stabilization and transition services to offenders within the department who have serious mental addition clinical staff at the institution provide substance abuse programming remediation services to parole violators and risk assessments to offenders being considered for parole from the Maryland Parole Commission.
ThePsychiatric Nurse Practitionerprovides mental health/psychiatric assessment diagnosis and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted Maryland APRN license
- Ability to pass background check
- 3 years experience working as a Psychiatric MHNP in an Inpatient Unit
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and state CDS registration
