DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Reporting to the QA Manager
2. To assess and recommend to improve effectiveness and efficiency of QC procedures.
3. Own QA product/process health indicators and dppm reports and analyze QA/ Test and Process failures to drive for systematic corrective actions.
4. Involve in cross functional teams for product quality and reliability improvement projects/changes in both start-up and sustaining activities.
5. Defects verification lot disposition shipment blocking/approval and generate/closing ICAR.
6. Responsible for the technical evaluation NPI support implementing/ monitoring corrective ac-tions report generations.
7. Work closely with NPI Team and co-ordinate with them on the implementation of product to mass production.
8. Lead on continual improvement activities through defining test/process problems that lead to quali-ty issues by determine root cause & implementation
9. Analyze and follow up on all customer reported problem with implementation of containment and corrective actions.
10. Follow up specific problems as advised by Quality Manager.
Education & Experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical.
- Experience on managing in-coming/ in-process/out-going quality related matter.
- Understand the mechanical drawing and GD&T.
- Knowledge in mechanical CAD software i.e. Solidworks e-drawing
- Good computer literacy and basic SPC knowledge
- Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
- Experience working in high mix and high volume manufacturing environment and/orassembly SMT PCBA manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage

- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
Working Conditions
