Health & Safety Manager
Location: East Harling (Fully Onsite)
Salary:
Im working with a well-established client who is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take full responsibility for safety compliance and site standards at their East Harling operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and leading safety improvements across a busy fast-moving environment.
The Role
As the Health & Safety Manager youll be the sites key contact for all H&S matters. Youll work closely with operational teams to maintain a safe working environment ensure compliance with legislation and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all onsite Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Carrying out risk assessments audits and inspections
- Leading accident/incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Keeping all documentation up to date (RAMS COSHH accident reports)
- Delivering training inductions and toolbox talks
- Working with managers to embed a strong safety culture
- Ensuring full compliance with UK H&S legislation
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager or similar role
- NEBOSH General Certificate is essential
- Strong understanding of H&S legislation and best practice
- Confident influencing skills with the ability to work with teams at all levels
- Highly organised proactive and hands-on in your approach
