We are seeking a Senior Survey Manager to lead survey operations across civil and transportation projects. This role oversees multiple field crews ensures project delivery manages client relationships and drives business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise field crews and office technicians on daily operations.
- Enforce QA/QC manage budgets schedules and client expectations.
- Coordinate with DOTs and municipalities for roadway and utility surveys.
- Support business development through proposals and client relationship building.
- Mentor staff with performance coaching and development plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed PLS or eligible to sit within 6 months (exam fees covered).
- 12 years of survey experience; 5 in supervisory roles.
- Strong DOT/municipal project experience.
- Proficient in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads & AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Knowledgeable in federal state and local survey regulations.
- High school diploma required; bachelors in surveying/civil tech preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Subsurface utility locating/designating experience.
- Experience with LiDAR aerial mapping or sUAS operations.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $85000 - $145000 based on experience & licensure.
- ESOP participation 401(k) with match medical/dental/vision HSA options.
- Sign-on bonus: $5000 - $10000 (after 90 days) for relocation or alternative reimbursement.
