Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Survey Manager to lead survey operations across civil and transportation projects. This role oversees multiple field crews ensures project delivery manages client relationships and drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise field crews and office technicians on daily operations.
  • Enforce QA/QC manage budgets schedules and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with DOTs and municipalities for roadway and utility surveys.
  • Support business development through proposals and client relationship building.
  • Mentor staff with performance coaching and development plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed PLS or eligible to sit within 6 months (exam fees covered).
  • 12 years of survey experience; 5 in supervisory roles.
  • Strong DOT/municipal project experience.
  • Proficient in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads & AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Knowledgeable in federal state and local survey regulations.
  • High school diploma required; bachelors in surveying/civil tech preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Subsurface utility locating/designating experience.
  • Experience with LiDAR aerial mapping or sUAS operations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $85000 - $145000 based on experience & licensure.

  • Sign-on bonus: $5000 - $10000 (after 90 days) for relocation or alternative reimbursement.
