TITLE: Manager Systems Engineer - Flight Operations Support
EMPLOYER: Airbus Americas Inc.
LOCATION: Miami Springs FL
DUTIES: Focus on avionics and computer systems and impact on flight simulation and training for civil commercial aircraft (A220 A320 Family A330 A350). Apply systems engineering principals to address needs of customers for flight operations training and services. Maintain subject matter expert in avionics/computer systems to cultivate customer relationship while promoting adherence to Airbus flight operations and training standards and the proper safe use of both Airbus and commercial aircraft products and services.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Information Systems Engineering or related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience in avionics and computer systems for flight operations engineering for civil commercial aircraft. Prior experience must also include: Experience applying systems engineering principals for improving avionics systems and flight operations; Experience with flight operations documentation management as required by FAA or EASA; Implementing FAA and EASA requirements in the design and manufacture of avionics and computer systems for civil commercial aircraft; Experience with documenting and assessing flight behavior of civil commercial aircraft and avionics systems at operational limits to ensure safety and performance requirements are met; Customer-facing experience with in-depth knowledge of commercial aircraft operations and services; and Experience in avionics and flight computer systems. Up to 25% domestic and international travel required for business meetings. Telework permitted up to 2 days per week.
