40Summary:
The Secretary is the receptionist for the department and is responsible for preparation of patient care orientation packets and for the registration participant confirmation and preparation for some of the workshops offered by the Education Department and other activities of a clerical nature.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma.
At least three years office experience.
Excellent organizational skills.
Typing skills of 60 wpm At least three years computer experience Microsoft Word Excel and Access preferred6Experience in operating various office equipment/machines (copier fax).
Administrate Support Duties:
Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
Maintain patient records and files.
Handle correspondence and generate reports.
Financial Counseling Support Duties:
Understand insurance eligibility and high-level Patient Access functions.
Assist the Financial Counseling team in all clerical and administrative duties.
Create and maintain various spreadsheets and reports.
Log productivity inpatient and outpatient volumes track team tickets etc.
