Work Schedule:

Part-time 60% FTE day/evening shift. Shifts are scheduled 3 days a week Monday Friday 8-hour shifts. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Emergency Education Center Specialist to:

  • Teach AHA Courses ACLS BLS and PALS and other certification courses taught at UW Health.
  • Develop execute and evaluate educational treatment plans for hospital and prehospital providers.
  • Select and organize facilities equipment and educational materials.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a state-approved EMT-Paramedic education program Required or
  • Bachelors Degree in a healthcare related field Required
Work Experience
  • 2 years of experience in delivery of emergency care or critical care Required
  • 6 months of relevant teaching experience Required
  • 3 years of experience in pre-hospital emergency response care Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Wisconsin state licensure as a Registered Nurse Physician Assistant or an EMT-Paramedic Required
  • Current AHA Instructor in BLS ACLS PALS or must obtain within six months from date of hire Required
  • Nationally Registered EMT Paramedic Preferred
