We are seeking an Emergency Education Center Specialist to:

Teach AHA Courses ACLS BLS and PALS and other certification courses taught at UW Health.
Develop execute and evaluate educational treatment plans for hospital and prehospital providers.
Select and organize facilities equipment and educational materials.

Qualifications

Completion of a state-approved EMT-Paramedic education program Required or
Bachelors Degree in a healthcare related field Required

Work Experience

2 years of experience in delivery of emergency care or critical care Required
6 months of relevant teaching experience Required
3 years of experience in pre-hospital emergency response care Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Wisconsin state licensure as a Registered Nurse Physician Assistant or an EMT-Paramedic Required
Current AHA Instructor in BLS ACLS PALS or must obtain within six months from date of hire Required
Nationally Registered EMT Paramedic Preferred
