IS Business Manager Senior Associate

The objective of working in the Business Management Office (BMO) within Information Security is to provide strategic and operational support to ensure the effective management and execution of security includes coordinating and managing projects to align with the overall security strategy facilitating communication and collaboration across different teams and service lines monitoring and reporting on performance metrics supporting budget and resource management and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Position Summary:

As a Business Manager reporting to the Business Management Lead for the Information Security (InfoSec) portfolio teams at EY you will:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of business management processes and tools to improve accuracy transparency and operational efficiency
• Assist with planning budgeting and forecasting activities to help ensure operational and project needs are met
• Assist with ad-hoc inquiries and provide functional support to ensure smooth business operations
• Track and report KPIs to monitor progress
• Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies investigate issues and assist in developing solutions to maintain accuracy and efficiency

This role is crucial for effective financial management and operational efficiency within the InfoSec portfolio.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Analyze data and solve problems by identifying trends spotting anomalies and contributing to solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate effectively by communicating financial and operational insights clearly and professionally
• Support financial and operational processes by assisting with planning budgeting and forecasting to align with project needs
• Prepare and communicate reports by tracking KPIs and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders
• Provide ad-hoc and functional support to ensure smooth business operations across the InfoSec portfolio
• Maintain and improve processes by supporting implementation of tools that enhance transparency and operational efficiency

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Analytical Skills: Perform detailed financial analyses and interpret complex data with strong problem-solving abilities
• Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication presenting reports clearly and concisely
• Project Management: Manage projects and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational skills
• Strategic Thinking: Align activities with the overall Business Management Office strategy and proactively identify improvement opportunities
• Interpersonal Skills: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and maintain a collaborative mindset
• Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in financial management and reporting and thoroughness in tracking KPIs and compliance
• Microsoft 365 Suite Proficiency: Utilize Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word and Teams for financial analysis and reporting communication and collaboration
• Microsoft Teams & SharePoint Collaboration: Effectively use for communication and document sharing

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or 3- 5 years of equivalent experience
• Experience in data analytics including data analysis reporting and utilizing analytic tools to drive strategic decision-making
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and providing standardized updates is desirable
