We are seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or experienced PA that has a focus on diabetes for our Endocrinology outpatient centers located in Brandon FL and Lakeland FL. There will be a 6-month training/orientation at the main campus in St. Petersburg FL as well as a rotation to inpatient services every 6 - 7 weeks at the main campus.

APRNs and PAs are board-certified providers that assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization promotion and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury. APRNs and PAs contribute to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. APRNs and PAs assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization promotion and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury under the supervision of a physician. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH.



Qualifications:
Current Florida State Licensure as PNP-PC PNP-AC or a PA

Clinical Masters Degree in Nursing or DNP for PNP-PC or ACPNP or Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies
Current BLS and PALS
Current National Certification as a: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care or PNP-PC or PA

Salary Range: Minimum 49.54/hour - Maximum 76.54/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
