Job Summary
Sealy Mattress Middle East a prominent manufacturer of premium bedding products known for its Sealy Crown Jewels and Stearns & Foster brands is currently seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Supervisor to join our team. Our state-of-the-art facility in Jeddah operational since 1999 has been pivotal in driving product innovation and meeting the demands of the MENA region. The Purchasing Supervisor will play a vital role in managing procurement processes negotiating with suppliers and ensuring that the companys purchasing needs are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the purchasing department and procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing quality and service.
- Analyze purchasing trends and inventory levels to forecast future purchasing needs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production sales and finance) to align purchasing strategies with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance and take necessary actions to ensure supply chain reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- 30 to 40 years old.
- Male.
