Were excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced Streetworks Coordinator to join our Power Division based in our Reading office.
In this role you will support the Operational Delivery Team by managing all aspects of Streetworks coordination and ensuring all permits are accurately prepared and approved ahead of works commencing.
Responsibilities
- Submitting all permits on behalf of Planners ensuring accuracy of permit details and submitting on Street Manager via SSE NRSWA Team for approval.
- Liaising with local authorities to ensure all permit stipulations are adhered to.
- Organising any associated required suspensions of bus stops parking bays etc.
- Booking required Traffic management complying with the permit conditions provided.
- Starting and stopping of permits updating OCU One and Street Manager.
- Submitting R1s (using information fed back from reinstatement team).
Daily tasks
- First point of contact for all gangs on site to confirm arrival on site and start permit.
- Making any live variations to permits.
- Getting confirmation of works completed and site ready for reinstatement.
- Liaising with and receiving information from Reinstatement team.
- Confirming site reinstated.
- Organising TM removal.
- Receiving defect reports liaising with reinstatement department to confirm if a valid defect. If accepted plan in the works and arrange all TM requirements.
- Running hourly reports for defects FPNs & S74s via Street Manager.
Knowledge
- Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word Excel Outlook Street Manager.
- Experience managing street works permitting procedures.
- Understanding of NRSWA and permitting conditions.
Skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Excellent Communication Interpersonal & Organisational Skills.
- Permit and noticing experience.
