Job Title: Warehouse Clerk
Location: Ft. Lauderdale FL 33309
Duration: 6 months contract
Shift: M-F (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate:$15.00 - $20.00 hourly.
Job Description
- The Contractor Warehouse Clerk plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by safely handling and moving materials. This temporary role is focused on supporting material handling and shipping needs and ensuring the integrity of inventory through barcode scanning labelling and scrap handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems and cycle counting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with hazardous material handling procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with stock line level tracking systems barcode scanning labeling and cycle counts. Experience with ERP or WMS platforms is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of operating pallet jacks.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

- Excel Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Excel including formulas pivot tables lookups and data sorting/filtering for inventory tracking auditing and reporting.
- Physical & Operational Readiness: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs operating pallet jacks and adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Inventory Management: Familiarity with stock line level tracking systems barcode scanning labeling and cycle counts. Experience with ERP or WMS platforms is a plus.
