Position Title: Research/Data Analyst Senior

Location: Atlanta GA 30334

Engagement Type: Contract

Work Mode: Remote (On-site interview and Day 1 equipment pickup required)

Duration: December 8 2025 June 30 2026 (approximately 7 months)

Role Overview:

This senior-level research and data analyst position supports complex statistical financial and operational data analysis for management decision-making. The role involves extracting and analyzing data from organizational databases creating reports and dashboards overseeing research projects and providing strategic insights to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract data from Oracle databases using SQL and perform statistical analysis to support ongoing reporting needs
Identify compile and clean data for research projects while analyzing trends and patterns in complex datasets
Oversee evaluation and research projects communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders and prepare results for publication
Develop data visualization dashboards using Tableau and manage internal and external data requests
Collaborate with external research partners and provide guidance to junior team members

Required Skills & Experience:

5 years of experience with reporting packages (Business Objects) databases (SQL Oracle) and programming (XML Javascript ETL frameworks)
3 years of experience accessing and extracting data from organizational or institutional databases
3 years of proficiency in queries report writing and presenting findings
1 year of strong analytical skills with ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail
Bachelors degree in a related field with 2 years in a lead/supervisory role OR Associates degree with 4 years of related experience (2 in lead/supervisory role) OR 2 years as IT Business Analyst or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

2 years of relevant work experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/Analysis
1 year of experience with data visualization software (Tableau)
