Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with hands-on CNC programming experience to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
This full-time position plays a vital role in producing high-quality precision-machined components in a low-volume high-mix environment with a focus on efficient setups and multiple daily changeovers.

Key Responsibilities:
Program and operate CNC machines (e.g. mills lathes) to manufacture custom parts.
Develop and edit CNC programs for newly designed parts and components.
Perform multiple machine setups daily with high attention to detail and efficiency.
Conduct first-piece inspections using hand tools such as micrometers dial indicators and Vernier calipers.
Analyze machining jobs to reduce setup times and improve workflow and productivity.
Interpret and work from blueprints technical drawings and program specifications.
Collaborate with engineers supervisors and programming teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Mount align and secure fixtures tools and workpieces using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
Monitor machine operation ensuring proper lubrication cooling and tool wear management.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience with proven ability to create and edit programs.
At least 5 years experience working in a machine shop environment (or 3 years with vocational school certification).
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in the use of manual and digital measuring instruments.
Solid understanding of machining principles and material properties.
Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition subtraction multiplication division).
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs standing for 8 10 hours and performing repetitive tasks.
Reliable detail-oriented and able to work effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Haas CNC controllers is a strong plus.
Familiarity with common machining materials such as aluminium steel and plastics.
Vocational or technical training in machining or manufacturing.
