Job Title : Data Analyst (Oracle SQL Tableau Criminal Justice)
Location: Atlanta GA (Remote )
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Extract primary data from Oracle databases using SQL
- Interpret data analyze results using statistical techniques and produce ongoing reports
- Provide timely and accurate data to fulfill internal and external data requests
- Identify compile and clean data for research projects
- Identify analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Oversee evaluation and research projects
- Communicate evaluation plans and details to leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with external research partners to ensure understanding of data points and data sets
- Develop and monitor internal and external data requests
- Manage summarize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
- Summarize and explain research findings and their implications
- Prepare findings for publication
- Develop review and abstract published research
- Produce data visualization dashboards using Tableau
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelors degree in a related field and experience in a related lead or supervisory role
OR - Associates degree in a related field and related experience including time in a lead or supervisory role
OR - Experience at the lower-level IT Business Analyst role or equivalent position
Preferred Qualifications - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Reporting packages (e.g. Business Objects)
- Databases (SQL Oracle)
- Programming (XML JavaScript ETL frameworks)
- Experience accessing and extracting data from institutional or organizational databases
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy and the ability to disseminate significant amounts of information
- Experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/Analysis
- Proficiency in queries report writing and presenting findings
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
